"Protecting the environment and attaching importance to health" has always been an important business philosophy and principle of Guangzhou Eternit Company. While pursuing economic benefits, it actively fulfills the corporate social responsibility of protecting the environment and protecting the health of employees. Every year, a large amount of money has been invested in wastewater recycling, clean energy, dust removal and noise reduction to ensure the practical implementation of various environmental protection measures:
（1）Solar energy
generation
On January 1, 2015, our solar power system was officially launched and supplied power. The solar power system is installed on the roof of our factory and consists of 8926 solar panels, covering an area of 16,500 square meters, and an average annual power generation capacity. Exceeding 2.12 million degrees is equivalent to reducing the consumption of 691 tons of standard coal each year, reducing the emissions of 1749 tons of carbon dioxide, 3.82 tons of nitrogen oxides and 0.64 tons of sulfides. In the scorching summer, the 16,500-square-meter solar panel on the roof of the factory forms a huge insulation layer, which absorbs the heat of solar radiation and converts it into clean electricity, and greatly reduces the heat transfer from the outside to the inside. Reduce the indoor temperature of the factory and save cooling energy consumption. In Guangzhou Yonghe Economic Development Zone where our company is located, our company is the first company to carry out solar power projects.
（2）Production
waste water recycling
The waste water generated in the production process of our factory will be fully recycled. After being treated by a special purification system, it will be stored in a reservoir for recycling. It can be put into production again, and can also be used for fish farming and watering and greening of vegetation. It can be used as a fire emergency water reserve to truly achieve zero wastewater discharge.
（3）Electric forklift with
zero exhaust emissions
Our factory workshop uses electric forklifts instead of diesel forklifts, which greatly reduces exhaust emissions and greatly improves the environment in the workshop, which is beneficial to protect the health of workers.
（4）Use power plant waste
heat to regenerate steam
Our company actively responds to the call of "energy saving and emission reduction" by the Guangzhou Municipal Government, and is the first to use the steam emitted from the power plant in the Yonghe Economic Development Zone Park as the steam energy required in the production process of our products. Say goodbye to the "boiler" completely, thereby greatly reducing energy consumption and exhaust emissions.
（5）Install dust
and noise reduction equipment
In 2019, our company carried out a comprehensive upgrade and transformation of the dust removal and noise reduction equipment in the factory production workshop to further reduce the dust in the production workshop. At the same time, we installed a set of special sound absorption and noise reduction equipment to reduce the noise in the workshop and Strengthen the protection of employees' health.
